An artist conflating art with other forms of problem-solving. Kathryn works with research and conversation, performance and video installation to ask questions and relocate answers. Starting with interviews, narrative and local histories, she is exploring means of contingency and accounting for ourselves.

Kathryn attained Masters at the Sydney College of the Arts and has studied in Post-Conceptual Art Practices at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Committed to interdisciplinary and critical endeavour in the arts, she works with the Inter-Arts Office at the Australia Council for the Arts. Kathryn was a Firstdraft gallery director and part of The Free Association collective for critical art dialogue, and has contributed to the RUNWAY publication and other artist-run initiatives. She has been an Educator for Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art and is a resident artist with Workshop Showroom in St Peters.
